The Neighbor Girl

Well Most of you know I have 5 sisters and 1 Brother. What you don't know
is I also have another sister. She may not be a blood sister but she feels the description perfectly. She has well earned this blog post to be dedicated to her. Sydney Shaffer is such a great sister!! Just in the past two weeks Sydney has sat with me at the ER 3 times. She takes me on drives whenever I have been anxious to get out of the house. And she makes sure to document with pictures everything we do. Those sound like such little things compared to what she does for me and my family. My mom pretty much considers Sydney one of her daughters. Sydney is awesome, and literally one of the best people I have ever met!! Thank you Sydney and here is your Post!!!

Here is the thing

If the past few days is evidence of what the next few months have in store for me, its going to be a long few months.
I have been waking up at about 4:45 frantic to get stuff ready for my mission. . . I start shopping online and realize that I have no Idea what I am doing. My first instinct is just to buy everything have it shipped then I can return what doesn't work. Thankfully by the time I have to put my credit card number in I am awake enough to realize how ridiculous I am being.
But Seriously, I need to sleep a little bit more than what I am, I usually dont fall asleep till 1 or 2. Waking up at 4:30 and shopping, facebooking, reading, blogging, and staring until at least 6:30 then sleeping till 8:00 is not going to sustain me for my night shifts this week.

A tired Kenzie is always entertaining I am told. A little Cranky, but entertaining. So here is my question, to anybody who has served a mission! Will you please give me some advice! Written down, about anything! I could seriously take anything at this point! Maybe it will help calm my nerves so I can sleep. . .

Wierd

There are a few things that have started to really freak me out. One of which is that Corgan is going to be huge when I come home. He is like my little buddy and I just love him. He loved Camera's on the computer, mainly because it shows him like a mirror. He loves to skype and just do the photobooth. Here are a few from the other day. . . 

Yup that pretty much sums up how awesome we are.

Eugene Oregon

Sandy Utah will be loosing its "sponge" for all the awkward, awesome, odd, irrelevant, unique, and quite honestly WTF (What the Flip) moments for 18 months Starting on May 25th.

I will be leaving this town to serve a mission for the LDS church. If you do not know what I am talk about click This Lovely Link  It will tell you everything.

I feel so blessed to be able to be go to Oregon! I cannot express how excited I am. Last night as I was talking to few people who knew anything about where I was going they told me that it was "hippieville" and people who are very "free" live there. My whole life started making sense. No wonder situations find me where I am speechless as to the people I am interacting with. Maybe I am wrong, but I am beginning to think all the free spirited people I have met before now were just preparing me for the amazing people I am going to meet while I am in Oregon! I cannot wait to go!

If anybody knows anything about the Place, Let me know I would love to learn anything from anyone! Even If I don't know you!

Well Folks

Here is an update 

Truth is, I stink at blogging. 

I am still as cool as ever. 

I am not in school 

I am waiting on a mission call, Hopefully any day now.

Yep I still cant Match my colors

I still have man sized feet.

And Although I passed some kidney stones I still drink Diet coke, and eat chocolate.

Life is good, I am so thankful for all the amazing family at friends I am blessed with.  

And The most interesting things continue to happen to me. I hope your all fantastic. 

The Truth about Me.

I am a daughter to the Most amazing Parents in the world. Words wouldn't do them justice.

I am a sister to 6 of the most incredible siblings, and 2 in laws I have ever met in my life. I cannot count the lessons I have learned by just observing them in their lives.

I am a Grandchild to The some amazing Grandparents. Both My Mother and Fathers Parents have taught me lessons of Humility, Patience, Love, Beauty, Caring, and have raised my parents to be the best they could be and I am eternally grateful for them.


I am an Aunt to two of the Most incredible little boys in the world. I am amazed every time I am able to spend any time with these guys how sweet their spirit is and how Loved I feel. I honestly cannot name a time where I have not walked away from Corgan and Greyson and not felt like a better person, closer to our Heavenly Father, and more in Love with them.

I am a Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am a member because time and time again I have had my testimony tested and I know for a surety in my heart that it is The true church. And although life sucks sometimes, and I am not perfect by any means Being a Member of The church makes you know and understand how to come unto Christ and show humility and that you love Him, and are willing to make the changes in your life.

I am someone who doesn't forget. I remember my heartache, I remember the scene of other peoples heart's breaking and wanting to do everything but it being out of my hands. I remember words and gestures, whispers, despair, every heart wrenching detail of deaths That I have been present on. I can't forget but I can deal with them and learn in a healthy manner.


I am a friend and a good friend! I am a loving friend, and I will usually call you my friend if we have talked more then 10 minutes. But If I am calling you my friend, you can count on me for anything.

I care too quickly for people, yet I never trust soon enough.



I am a firm believer that Hard work pays off, I have hard work to thank for being where I am in my health today.



I am a comedian. I love making people laugh, I love finding humor in everything, I love love love finding the one person that won't laugh at anything and being able to make them laugh. Its who I am I love humor. I use it to meet people, I use it to protect my emotions, I use it to help the hurting people, I use it to relax, I laugh at songs when I am driving, I laugh at myself when I think weird things. I just love to laugh.

I am a student, although I hate the classroom setting. . I do love to always be learning and asking questions, It gets me in trouble sometimes but I would say its been well worth it. I love being intrigued and figuring stuff out on my own!


I love me. I love all these things I have listed. I am not conceited, but I have finally in my life come to a place to accept myself, Love myself and take care of myself. I think everybody needs that.
